Bill Conway is a bassist, arranger and teacher located in Westchester County, NY. He attended New York University and The University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Music where he received his degree in double bass performance. As a free-lance bassist, he has performed jazz, classical and cabaret music throughout the US and Canada in venues ranging from Carnegie Hall to local churches and restaurants.
Bill has written numerous arrangements for ensembles of all sizes: from full orchestras and jazz bands to duets and piano solos. He also transcribes, edits and prepares music for publication using Finale notation software. For many years he worked closely with Mike Carubia and Smart Chart Music preparing over 100 big band arrangements for publication.
Bill teaches both bass and piano to students of all ages.
